‘Lunar 50’ – our show of original photographs by the Apollo astronauts and other NASA artefacts, curated by Alastair Fairley to celebrate the first Lunar landing in 1969 has been our most popular to date with more than 150 people visiting in the first three days alone.

Until 30 July 2019 , this is your chance to see an absolutely unique and amazing collection of original photographs and film footage of the Apollo XI astronauts on the Moon as well as authentic space travel artefacts.

Alastair Fairley’s late father, Peter Fairley, led ITN’s coverage of the lunar landings and assembled the extraordinary collection of space memorabilia that is

Our opening event on Sunday 7 April 2019 was well-attended with lots of good feedback about the work in our first group show as well as the space.

Tymon Dogg and Alex Walker performed some pieces from the ensemble A Wave of Dreams (books/CD available from gallery) and Yumino Seki gave a memorable Butoh performance which Blanquito the dog joined in with towards the end.

Here are some pictures from the event, courtesy of Ben Hamilton.

And the moment Blanquito became involved in the Butoh performance, captured by Josie Demuth:
